Yellowcraigs
| << | ![]() I am a 27 year old, self-taught landscape photographer. I am originally from the North-East of England and I am currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland where I work as a computer technician.
My photographic influences come from the likes of Joe Cornish and David Ward. I am constantly developing my own style of photography and I am partial to extreme wide-angles and dramatic skies while maintaining a strong foreground interest. I prefer the vertical format as it allows me to capture an image as I see and remember it, leading your eye into the photograph and showing dimension and a good depth of field. For me the most important factor in my photography is the light. I have had images published in various photography magazines through competitions which I have entered. I actually won a Canon DSLR camera similar to my own for a mono image of a causeway, near Edinburgh. A article on my work and my website will feature in the forthcoming December issue of The Scots Magazine. Ross Armstrong www.roscophotographic.com |
